Style 360 and Dr. Smiles’ Successful Start to New York Fashion Week!

Here at Dr. Smiles, we do what we do because we love to see everyone use the world as their runway! And to us, that means peak confidence. At this year’s New York Fashion Week confidence was at an all time high. Whether it was a model, designer or the fabulous attendees at runway shows, events and after parties, all were gathered to celebrate one another, artistry, craftsmanship and hard work!

Models on the catwalk, statuesque in appearance lit up the runway. Their fierceness was contagious and inspiring! But as the famous designer Marc Jacobs once said, “Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them.”

Of course New York Fashion week is about the runway shows, the talented models, styles and trends expected to be seen in Spring 2018. But NYFW street style has become a huge part of the event as a whole. Fashion bloggers, celebrities and fashionistas from all over stepped out showcasing their personal style. To some it may seem a little “out there” but there’s a sort of artistry that goes into it. And that’s what we believe true confidence stems from. The inside, the confidence to be your true self, no matter what others think.

Spending time on outfit choices for NYFW is a surprisingly tedious task but everyone delivered and brought out their finest ensembles. Attendees could be seen posing in front of photo booths and strutting their stuff on the red carpet for the paparazzi. They were looking and FEELING their best.

One of our favorite events was the Chinese Laundry + Uncommon James by Kristin Cavallari showcase at Bagatelle NYC where we got to hang out with our NYFW VIP experience contest winner! Another highlight was seeing THE Tommy Hilfiger supporting his brother for the Andy Hilfiger presents ARTISTIX By Greg Polisseni show.
